COME GROW WITH US!
The seeds have been planted

The Rock Island County AOK Network aims to address local food insecurity while providing a growing space for reflection, education, and empowerment. Our garden will help support the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of children ages 0-5, and their families. We hope it becomes a point of convergence for Learning Through Play, parental support, collective learning, and other therapeutic activities that foster stronger and more meaningful community connections.

Join us from June to September summer 2022 every Wednesday afternoon from 3:00-5:00 PM and every Saturday morning from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM for open garden time. Families with children of all ages and who are pregnant are welcome and encouraged to come to grow, play and learn!

Our Community Growing Space is located at 335 5th Avenue in Moline; parking is available at the Esperanza Center (located on the vacant lot adjacent to the Esperanza center). A very special thank you to our beautiful friends at Heritage Church for allowing us to use this space to support our local community.
